West Covina native BOB ZANY is wry, sarcastic, insulting, lovable, and well ... zany! The critics rave about Zany's unmatchable skill of working an audience. Known to many as "The Insult Comic," he is a fellow who has the temerity to hit his audience without a pre-set joke list or any clear idea at all of what's going to happen. Winging it is one thing: Zany has so mastered his craft that it's become invisible. "It's just business, bay-bee."
He's been on more than 100 national television shows including The Drew Carey Show, Rodney Dangerfield's HBO Special, The Jerry Lewis Telethon, Roseanne, Showtime, MTV, VH-1 and A&E. In fact, his very first national TV appearance was on The Gong Show. Halfway through his stand-up routine (which he read from a piece of paper) he was pulled off the stage by a man dressed like a nun wielding a net…welcome to showbiz, bay-bee! Since then, Zany has been a regular guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and his "Zany Report" is currently featured weekly on the nationally syndicated radio program "The Bob and Tom Show."
